Demi Lovato has an interview with Montreal Virgin Radio where she dishes about which celebrities she would like to collaborate in the future. During the interview, she has also mentioned she’s not a fan of One Direction which is why she wouldn’t do a collaboration with them.

“It’s not that big of a deal. People are making it out to be this huge thing,”

“I collaborate with people that really inspire me. When I want to collaborate with someone, I want to go after Kelly Clarkson. I want to collaborate one day with Eminem. I love Iggy Azalea. These are people that I really want to collaborate with and so I make it a point to collaborate to go after people that I really enjoy.”

“I’m not a One Direction fan per say. They’re not bad, they’re great,” she continued. “But… they’re like a boy group.”

But what about her ‘Somebody to You’ collab with the Vamps?

“I did collaborate with the Vamps, but I loved the song,” she clarified. “It was kind of this thing that it’s like, ‘Well, it’s not the type of thing that I’d normally do, but I love the song.’ And they’re good guys.”
