They’ve been steaming up cyberspace with their flirtatious tweets and secret Skype sessions.
And now it appears that Niall Horan and Demi Lovato may be about to take their online romance to the next level.
Niall has admitted to personally contacting Demi, and admits: ‘I don’t know what’s going to happen.’
He replied coyly: ‘We’ve spoken. She’s a cool girl so I got in contact with her. She’s really nice. I don’t know what’s going to happen.’
The pair’s chemistry was commented on by Demi’s backing vocalist Shari, who tweeted: ‘NiallOfficial it was nice to meet you over Skype with @ddlovato. Are you going to come to one of our shows in the US this Summer?’
It’s clear that the twosome have clicked very quickly, and fans are on the edge of their seats to see whether these Skype sessions will result in more for the stars.
Neither is being shy about showing their obvious affection.During an interview on US channel 955 a few days ago, Niall was asked who his celebrity crush is, to which he replied immediately, ‘Demi Lovato – she’s a beautiful girl.’
He was then asked whether he prefers Kim Kardashian or Demi and he said, ‘Demi definitely.’
It appears that Niall, 18, hasn’t given up trying to impress his potential sweetheart via Twitter, posting a topless photo of himself with Louis Tomlinson.
Awkwardly, Niall’s mentor and boss Simon Cowell seems a little less enamored of the US star.
He tweeted last month after working with her on X Factor: ‘Demi – very very very annoying @ddlovato @TheXFactorUSA’
