It looks like Demi Lovato’s Topshop exclusive wardrobe on the set of “The X Factor” has finally paid off, the 19-year-old girl-wonder is reportedly in “negotiations” to be the new face of Topshop.
Topshop is like H&M on crack. It’s a UK import and since there are few locations in the US to buy Topshop, it has the allure of a much more expensive brand.
They are planning on opening a Topshop in L.A. and making Demi the new covergirl.
“Demi is a huge fan of the brand, but nothing has become official quite yet,” a source tells Hollyscoop exclusively.
“Demi Lovato is in negotiations to be the new face of Topshop, which is also known as Topman. It is a British couture clothing store that is coming to the US now. They are opening up a shop in The Grove, where Banana Republic used to be. They really want Demi and she has already sat down to go over figures,” the source adds.
I wonder if Demi’s Topshop wardobe was all in a bid to get the modeling gig? Or, she’s been in talks with them for a while and part of her contract required that she wear the clothes?
It all makes sense now.
This is a new move for Topshop who has never used a celebrity as the face of their brand. Kate Moss modeled for Topshop in the past but she also designed a range for the store.
