One of the highlights of ABC Family’s October programming is the network’s “13 Nights Of Halloween” event. This year ABC Family will sharing the event with pop superstar Demi Lovato.
As a surprise for viewers and Demi Lovato fans, this year’s “13 Nights of Halloween” programming event will also offer exclusive interstitials from Lovato starting on Monday, Oct. 26th through Friday, Oct. 30th. Featuring Demi and her new hit single, “Confident.”
“13 Nights of Halloween,” is now in its 17th year and the programming event lasts from Monday, October 19th and concludes on Saturday, October 31st, and will also feature a special Halloween episode of procedural drama “Stitchers.”
The event will also include the ABC Family premiere of Johnny Depp in “Sleepy Hollow,” the network premiere of “Disney∙Pixar’s Monsters University,” and a delightfully scary mix of Halloween-themed programming airing for the 13 nights leading up to Halloween.
ABC will be hoping that quite a few of Lovato’s 25 million Instagram followers, or 31 million Twitter followers stop by for the special episodes. Locator recently released her new single, ‘Cool for the Summer’ off her fifth studio album titled CONFIDENT over the summer. Within hours of the launch it trended worldwide and hit #1 on iTunes in 35 countries.
Lovato then released her second single, “Confident” which is already conquering the charts. Her latest album, Demi, hit #1 on iTunes in over 50 countries and produced platinum singles, “Heart Attack”, “Neon Lights” and “Really Don’t Care.”
To celebrate the success of DEMI, Lovato performed on stages all over the world when she embarked on two sold-out headlining tours (‘Neon Lights Tour’ and ‘Demi World Tour’) as well as countless national TV shows including Good Morning America, The Tonight Show Starring Jimmy Fallon, Late Night with Seth Meyers, Ellen and more. In addition to her musical accomplishments, the business woman and entrepreneur released her New York Times best-seller, Staying Strong: 365 Days a Year and launched her very own skin-care line, DEVONNE By Demi.
As an outspoken advocate for causes close to her heart, she remains devoted to giving back and serves as a role model by sharing her personal experiences. In honor of her late father, she launched The Lovato Treatment Scholarship which raises awareness for mental health and addiction issues, while providing funds to those who cannot otherwise afford treatment.
