Lovato is nominated alongside Christina Aguilera for their duet ‘Fall In Line.’

The Recording Academy announced the nominees for the 61st annual Grammy Awards on Friday (Dec. 7), and Demi Lovato found herself a spot among the contenders.

The 26-year-old pop singer scored a nomination for best pop duo/group performance, for her appearance on “Fall In Line” from Christina Aguilera’s Liberation. Lovato quickly took to Twitter to share her excitement.

“Woke up filled with hope,” she wrote. “Dreams come true y’all… thank you @xtina. I love you so much.”

“I grew up in Texas, singing to @xtina everyday, DESPERATELY trying to hit her high notes,” Lovato added in another tweet. “If you would’ve told me I’d have a Grammy nod with her I would’ve laughed in your face!! This is so surreal..”

The Grammy nomination is Lovato’s second; her album Confident previously lost to Adele’s 25 in the best pop vocal album category in 2017.
